Lords Prayer in Aramaic | the langauge Jesus spoke

Lord's Prayer is the most famous prayer that Christ, upon him be peace, taught to humanity. The prayer is a beautiful teaching of welcoming God's Light into our inner space with submission and surrender to Divine will. In the book, Prayers of the Cosmos: Meditations on the Aramaic Words of Jesus, Neil Douglas-Klotz (Saadi Shakur Chisti) rendered the prayer into meditative interpretation. The one mentioned in the book can be read here.

The following is my rendition of the Lord's prayer drawing inspiration from Sufi Neil Douglas-Klotz and Nazarene's translation from Aramaic. Including a thematic intro of each line, it is done with a focus on the mystical inner resonance (not the literal word by word translation, so to speak).

1. Birth in Grand Oneness | Abwoon d'bwashmaya
. O Birther! Father-Mother of the Cosmos.

King James version: Our Father which art in Heaven

2. Acknowledging the Source of Light | Nethqadash shmakh
. Purify us with Your Hallowed Light of Being.

King James: Hallowed be Thy Name

3. Welcoming the Supreme into the inner Heart | Teytey malkuthakh
. May Your Abode be our inner-heart.

King James: Thy Kingdom comes 

4. Merging in submission | Nehwey tzevyanach aykanna d'bwahmaya aph b'arha
. In Divine union, may our will merge into Your Will.

King James: Thy Will be done in earth, as it is in heaven

5. The Real Provider | Hawvlan lachma d'sunqanan yaomana
. O, The Real Provider, grant us our inner & outer nourishment.

King James: Give us this day our daily bread

6. Karma and Universal Compassion | Wahboqlan khaubayn (wakhtahayn) aykanna daph khnan shbwoqan l'khayyabayn
. In Your Mercy, detach the fetters of faults that bind us, as we (in universal compassion) may let go the guilt of others.

King James: And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors

7. Protection from duality and ego | Wela tahlan l'nesyuna, Ela patzan min bisha
. Let us not enter forgetfulness (of duality), But free us from ego.

King James: And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil

. amen | i confirm with my entire being

note: Popularly read another additional line, "For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever." is not contained in Luke's version, nor is it present in the earliest manuscripts of Matthew. Most scholars do not consider it part of the original text of Matthew, and modern translations do not include it.
